Don’t wait for change –
Short Term Medical plans are available now!

Recent announcement from federal agencies provided new guidance for Short Term Medical¹ plans to be limited to less than 3 months, but this will not be enforced until April 1, 2017.

Short Term Medical plans from UnitedHealthOne® can help your clients fill gaps in their health insurance coverage at a price that meets most budgets.

Short Term Medical plans are available now for your clients! Coverage terms of up to 360 days in many states mean your clients can be covered throughout most of the year, as long as coverage does not extend past 12/31/17.

UnitedHealthOne® Short Term Medical plans feature:

Access to the UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus Network
5 Plan Choices²
Optional Benefits like Prescription Drug Options, Per Cause Deductible, and Supplemental Accident

¹ Short Term Medical plans are subject to medical underwriting and do not provide coverage for preexisting conditions or meet the mandated coverage necessary to avoid penalty under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Expiration or termination of a Short Term Medical plan does not trigger an ACA special enrollment opportunity. Notify your clients of these terms and conditions prior to apply. See Short Term Medical product brochure for more details. Product availability varies by state. ² Not available in all states.
